How to Create Bootable USB For Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 using Cmd  (Without any additional Software)

Hello everyone today i'm gonna show you how you can make your usb bootable for win 8.1/10

In order to create a bootable USB you need to follow these steps:

 

1. First of all You need to download Windows 8 Iso  (which is the windows setup file) You can find it from Microsoft and file hosting sites try different links by searching on google.

2. Once you got the windows Iso file which will be about 4Gb you need to install winrar; "a handy utility for extracting rar and iso files".

 Set the iso file default settings to open with winrar by right clicking under properties tab.

3. The second most important thing you need to do is the USB flash drive of 8gb or higher.(8gb or higher recommended)  You need to plug it in your pc/laptop to start this process.

4. Open start by right clicking on the windows start icon and click on search Type Cmd and run it as Administator.

5. Type these Commads as it is:     

These following lines will be shown and you can match it to step by step.

•      C:\User\Pc)DISKPART    enter     
•        List Disk

 (Here it will show your Disk (Hard drive and USB drives) 

You can easily find your USB by seeing size of that drive in my case it is Disk 1  and Disk 0 is my hard drive.

•        Select Disk 1        enter

    (Disk 1 is now the selected disk.)

•        Clean

    (DiskPart succeeded in cleaning the disk.)

•        Create Partition Primary

    (DiskPart succeeded in creating the specified partition.)

•        Select Partition 1

     (DiskPart 1 is now the selected partition.

•         Active

      (DiskPart marked the current partition as active.

        format fs=ntfs quick

            0 --- 100 Percent completed

        (DiskPart successfully formatted the volume.)

•          assign

        (DiskPart successfully assigned the drive letter or mount point.)

•          Exit     

  Now as you can see i have provided all the information.

The Final step is to go to your Iso file right click on it and choose winrar option---Extract Files  Choose Removable USB from there and click on OK

After the files have been extracted you need to restart your Pc and plug in usb drive.

On First startup quckily press the boot menu option in my

case I have Hp laptop i'll press the Esc key and select "Boot Device Options" F9 From there i select  "USB Hard Drive - Hp USB".

 And Boom The Windows 8.1 Setup has just started and it will takes about 10-15 minutes to completely install the Windows.
