Hello everyone today I'm going to tell you how to prevent your laptop from overheating and fix it permanently.

Overheating can cause permanent hardware failure, blue screen crashes, Blank screen shutdown or it can lead to data loss.

First of all you need to know why your laptop is Overheating.....?

These are the common reasons for overheating.
1. A common sign when you feel that your laptop is getting very hot shows that your fan is running at maximum speed or irregular speed.

2. Air vents may be closed or may be blocked by dust.
3. Your fan is not spinning well/freely so there is no way that your fan efficiently expelling out hot air.
4. You need to check for battery temperature because when people work hours and hours on their laptop with continuous AC Supply there is no battery use which results in reduced lifespan of a battery and with the passage of time it get less efficient and leads to dead, which can lead to overheating.
5. Another reason is when a person is running a high profile game or high graphics software that consumes a lot of memory and CPU usage....... So you need to check out that your CPU performance will also increased.
you can check this from task manager performance tab so increased CPU performance is a major cause of overheating.

No these were the possible reasons for overheating laptop and we need to fix them permanently.
You need to follow these steps which are very easy to prevent your laptop from overheating:

First of all you need to clean the fan of your laptop In which case you'll have to remove your fan from your laptop and clean the dust layers from the air vents.

You can also use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from your fan or cotton swab dipped in a drop of alcohol.................... but make sure that the alcohol is completely evaporated before you are cleaning your fan through it.

  • You need to clean your air vents with vacuum cleaner by directly blowing air using a straw to make sure that the blockade made by dust is completely removed
  • You can use canned air for cleaning your intake grills/vents.
  • You need to place your laptop on a hard or flat surface because uneven surfaces like beds sofas, your lap, blanket and pillow can cause obstruction of the airflow which results in heat getting trapped inside your laptop and becomes hotter which results in overheating.

  • Buy a good cooling pad for your laptop because it provides additional cooling.
  • You need to buy it according to your laptop.
  • Buy a cooling pad that blows air upward if your laptop has intake grill beneath it.
  • The cooling pad will hardly cost 20$- $30.

  • Buy a new laptop fan if you laptop’s fan shows irregular behavior/noises or irregular spinning.
  • This means your fan is not spinning well and the heat gets trapped inside your laptop......

So in order to fix this you need to buy yourself a new fan suitable for your laptop.

You need to clean your laptop by removing the fan and there you will find dust particles or blockade you need to clear those dust particle which are responsible for overheating.

  • You need to clean the air vents by air dryer, cotton swab or vacuum cleaner.
  • Reduce the number of processes running in a particular time you can check all of your processes by simply opening task manager and check for the processes that uses CPU usage terminate those processes by end task.
  • Update all your drivers and windows to keep the hardware works efficiently.

In my opinion these are the possible ways in which you can reduce overheating.
