Turn a Laptop/Pc into a Wifi Hotspot | Wifi hotspot Using Cmd (Use Virtual network for sharing)
Hello Everyone Today I'm Gonna show you how you can create a wifi-hotspot using your laptop's internet
Just Simply Follow these
steps.....
1. Create the hotspot open start by right clicking on the windows icon and click on search Type Cmd
and run it as Administrator.
2. Now check if your Wifi card is able to create hotspot or not.......
For this process type this command in cmd "Netsh wlan show drivers" Without quote marks.
3. The Next Screen will be showing your WiFi card properties.....
See for this info "Hosted network supported: Yes" if it says yes then you can create a WiFi hotspot
or if it says no then you need to upgrade your WiFi card.
4. Type this command to setup your name and password for hotspot that you gonna make "Netsh wlan set hosted network mode=allow ssid=MyWifiHotspot key=rocketjump90 and hit enter
5. These Following Lines will be showing
The hosted network mode has been set to allow.
The SSID of the hostednetwork has been successfullt changed.
The User key passphrase of the hosted network has been successfully changed.
6. Now type "Netsh wlan start hostednetwork" to start your wifi hotspot.
7. Open Control Panel --- Click on Network and Internet --- Network and Sharing Center--- Change adapter settings --- See on which adapter you are currently connected wether it is Ethernet or wifi click on its Properties.
8. Click on Sharing ---- Click on Internet Connection Sharing box Allow other network users to connect........ In Home network connection choose New created Local Area Connection* 13 in my case your may be different.
9. Hit Ok and Boom Here is your new Wifi Hotpsot is created.
10. If you created this by
sharing a Wifi connection your speed will be slower..... but it depends on your
connection.
Note:
If you don't see any Local Area Connection connection in "Network Connection" make sure you've enabled "Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter" from "Networks Adapters--- Device Manager and click on show hidden Devices.
