Laptop charger plugged in not charging | Laptop battery not charging | Hp laptop not charging

Hello everyone today I am going to tell you how to fix laptop charger plugged in but not charging......

In this case you'lll find a message from your laptop that battery is not charging when you move the pointer/cursor to your battery icon in the right bottom it shows plugged in but not charging.

You need to follow these steps in order to get back on the track.

We have 3 methods in order to fix this
Here we go.

            Method #1

There are several reasons that's why a battery won't charge
Follow these steps and get your battery working again.
1.    You need to shut down your laptop
2.    Disconnect the AC supply/charger from your laptop.
3.    Remove your laptop’s battery.
4.    Now connect your AC supply/charger to your laptop
5.    Power on your laptop and follow the Windows boot process/start the windows.
6.    Go to device manager and under the battery section uninstall all Microsoft ACPI compliant Control method And Microsoft AC adaptor supply.

7.    Power of your laptop/shutdown your windows.
8.    Now disconnect the AC supply from your laptop
9.    Insert the battery back into your laptop
10. Now connect your AC supply to your laptop and boot to the windows
11.  The drivers Microsoft ACPI-compliant control method images of AC supply adaptor supply automatically installed
12. Now you need to completely drain your battery and recharge about three times and allow your battery to cool down at room temperature
May be it will works for you :)

                        Method #2

We are going to troubleshooting the battery If you are using Windows 10 then follow these steps:
1. Go to start and click on settings and select update and security option
2. In the middle left side you will find troubleshooting tab click on it
3. There so many options for troubleshooting but you have to find the power option After finding it you simply click on run the troubleshooter. It will detect and shows the possible problems to your battery or laptop
4. The interesting part starts right here when you find there is no problem in the troubleshooting process but the problem still persists and your battery won't charge with the charger plugged in.

5. Now you need to manually calibrate the battery in order to do this turn on your laptop and leave it for no work the battery will eventually falls to 0% and the laptop will shut down now remove the battery and insert it again try again to charge the battery.

(Smart battery callibration)

Hope so it will start charging again efficiently

Method #3

If the above two methods did not work for you then you need to follow these steps:

Update your BIOS or reset your BIOS setting

  • In order to update  you need to open your laptop manufacturer website for finding a possible update in my case I am using an HP elite book and I will.
  •  On the HP official website and I will download the possible files and update my bios.

After I download and install the update of bios I'ill turn off my laptop and power on again and go to my bios and here I'll select the default setting and save and exit now the laptop will restart for me.

After following all these methods if still these don't work for you then......
You can try freezing the battery ....!!?
"According to computer researchers they say freezing the battery s the dead cells will regenerate"....... !! huh ? what the crap

I know It sounds like weird but what .......?
Some people will agree to this theory and some people don’t I am going to try it because I agree with this

Turn off your laptop and remove your battery and cover it with the plastic bag
an further cover it with a towel
After that put it in other the plastic bag I've covered the battery in a way that it does not get wet in the freezer......
Because I'm going to put the battery in the freezer for about 10 to 15 hours.

After 12 to 15 hours you need to check your battery it will be completely frozen.....

But here is an important thing when you taking the battery outside of your freezer don't use it right away because it will be frozen or cooled.

You need to put the battery in normal room temperature 4 about 4 to 5 hours and after that you can use it

If you find any kind of Moisture around your battery you'll have to dry it with the towel

Now insert your battery into your laptop plugged in your AC supply/charger and turn on your laptop boot to the windows and see it will definitely works for you......
Now you'll successfully get the job done.

Thanks have a nice day :)
